The Cummins Onan Quiet Gas 5500 Series Propane RV Generator meets CARB and EPA Tier 4 Final and Phase IV standards and specifications required for all motorized recreational vehicle generator sets. It meets CARB and EPA requirements in all 50 states for motorized vehicle applications including RV Motorhomes and truck campers, and for all trailered RV applications. For Class A, Class B, and Class C RV Motorhomes, truck campers, and RV trailer applications, it starts and runs two 15,000 BTU air conditioners with 1000-watts of additional power for lights and other appliances. It incorporates a digital voltage regulator, frequency regulation, and two single-pole 30-amp circuit breakers. It includes 120-inch generator output leads plus a sealed remote start connector. It meets National Park Service sound level requirements of 60 db(A) or less at 50 feet. Expect less than 69dB at 10 feet away, typical installations lower sound level further. Vibration isolation makes operation exceptionally smooth and quiet within the full housing. The spark-arresting muffler, enclosed within the integrated housing and steel base is USDA Forest Service approved. It has a microprocessor control with diagnostics and troubleshooting and features protection for overcrank and field overload, over/under frequency and loss of AC signal, mechanical faults, and starter faults. It operates efficiently and includes a replaceable air cleaner, has automatic choke, and an electric solenoid positive LPG fuel shutoff. It has a remote rocker-switch starting from the remote panel with 12-volt 3-wire negative ground.
