The Malone Auto Racks FS Rack is a self-standing storage system that is easy to assemble and will last for years. It is built with powder-coated, heavy-duty steel and reinforced with a Rear Leg Extension Kit. It can be installed in a garage or on a dock near the water. This 6-Kayak Storage Package comes with a Base Frame, mounting hardware, Rear Leg Extension Kit, four J-Style Kayak Holders, four Upright Foam Pads, and two pairs of Foam Kayak Blocks.
It all starts with the Base Frame. The 250-pound capacity steel framework was designed to confidently and safely store your outdoor gear. Rear Leg Extensions allow storage of gear on the rear side of the Base Frame and increase the distributed load capacity to a total of 500-pounds. The 12-gauge powder coated frame features adjustable frame levelers and zinc coated steel hardware. With the Base Frame in place, it’s easy to utilize the included FS Rack Add-Ons.
The included Add-Ons and Rear Leg Extensions allow you to store a total of 3-kayaks on each side of the Base Frame. The four J-Style Kayak Holders mount to the Base Frame’s uprights and each hold 1-kayak. The J-style holders are padded to protect the kayaks from abrasion and hull distortion. The Upright Foam Pads are used to cover the exposed nuts of the J-Style Holders to prevent damage to a kayak placed on the opposite side of the rack. The two pairs of Foam Kayak Blocks mount to the lower level of the Base Frame to each hold 1-kayak.
