The Malone Auto Racks TelosXL temporarily attaches to the Malone DownLoader J-Style Carrier (sold separately) or Malone SeaWing V-Style Carrier (sold separately). This lift assist provides a safe way to vertically raise your kayak into a position where it can easily be loaded into the carriers. To use: place the cradles in their lowest position and load the kayak; slowly raise each cradle independently using a side-to-side motion; continue to raise the cradles up to their highest position; slide the kayak up over the boarding ramps and into the carrier. You can then detach the TelosXL to use it on the other side of the vehicle to load your second kayak or to store it in the trunk for unloading later. The ground level adjustable extensions avoid contact with the vehicle’s sheet metal. There is simply no other load assist on the market with this versatility or value. It comes with assembly tools and instructions.
