It is ideal for use in a wide array of recreational vehicles. The cooling fan runs only when required by the electric load for quiet operation. This three-stage converter handles every charging need for the RV while extending the battery's life. Well-maintained batteries should never need more than two-stage (Normal and Trickle) charging, but a third stage (Bulk) is provided for the rare times a battery needs extra-power for charging. Electronic current limiting automatically shuts down the power during overload or short-circuit conditions. It is designed to comply with FCC Class B to not cause interference with televisions, radios, or other signals. It can be installed vertically with the fan at the bottom to enhance cooling, horizontally, or upside down.
